New Recommendations for Intravenous Thrombolysis in the Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke – ESO Guidelines 2021
Intravenous thrombolysis is the only approved systemic reperfusion therapy for patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). The most commonly used thrombolytic is alteplase.
